Recovery and Perspective

I work hard every day in my recovery, but it’s sometimes hard to see my own progress. Of course I know that I previously used a wheelchair exclusively and now walk with a hiking stick from REIo r went from not being alone for even an hour to spending nights alone. But it is easy to lose sight of how far I’ve come over the last decade. People who see me infrequently tend to comment on how much improvement they see.
